Jingwen has participated in many landscape and urban design competitions after graduated from University of Edinburgh with a degree in Landscape Architecture. From her understanding, a landscape designer should not only focus on the site itself, but also the interconnection between surrounding environments, urban development and community, and provide solutions though a both functional and aesthetic way.
